Early Childhood Development

Early Childhood Development includes baby development talks and education at the local clinic by UKZN OT students, training and support of ECD facilitators and includes assessments and interventions for children at ECD level.

Early childhood offers a critical window of opportunity to shape the trajectory of a child’s holistic development and build a foundation for their future. For children to achieve their full potential, as is their human right, they need opportunities for early learning, and responsive caregiving.
