Riverside Pocket Park update December 2025
It’s been an exciting two weeks on the Riverside Pocket Park. The team is taking a well deserved break and will be back in January 2026. The park is spotless and airy and serene.
If you go down to the park, which I suggest you do, please be aware that it’s taken extremely hard work to get it to where it is. Please be kind to the environment and do not litter or leave bottles and other stuff laying around. There are no bins yet, please pack up your waste and leave with it. Kindly we request.
Note there is still a contamination of sewer into the river so swimming is not allowed.
To the team – you have done exceptionally well. You have embraced the idea of claiming back our natural space and we are so excited to be partnering with you. EXCELLENCE is what you have brought to the project.
In these two weeks the project has attracted so much love and support. Thanks to each person who has showed up in whatever way, big or small, during this time.
The Riverside Pocket Park is our community treasure. Lets own it, lets protect this space, lets use the space for finding our inner source of peace and love in nature.
